I'm in Stargate fandom since 2006, and my only true love is Michael Shanks. I write, post photos, drool over and go in the gutter quite often about him. As a fan I love all about him, well minus the 'There something about Mary' hair lol...
I know rationally he's not the best as actor but in my fangirl heart he is the best. Before him I had many fav actors, now there is just him, because when I don't like an actor that much anymore I stop talking, writing, posting about him, I've done that with Connor Trinner and Michael Weatherly and Bruce Willis and many more. My point is that I am sick and tired to read supposed Michael's fans complaining about almost everything he does: movies, photos, interviews, choices, outfits, sense of humor...if you don't like him anymore, leave him the hell alone! There is no need of fans like you. Find yourself another one to bother and leave him and us in peace. Sorry for the rant, but you are lucky english is not my language because if I could write in Italian....I wouldn't have been so polite.
